Mayet Information Systems and Edsby forge strategic partnership

– Companies to target public sector education organizations in Manitoba, Canada –

Richmond Hill, ON – February 26^th, 2024 – Edsby®, an innovative K-12 education software company, and Mayet Information Systems, developers of a leading student information system in the Canadian province of Manitoba, are pleased to announce a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the education software experience for public education organizations including school divisions and First Nations schools.

The partnership is aimed at enabling the contemporary assessment & reporting, learning management, classroom management, parent communication and other features of Edsby at Mayet sites in Manitoba that have not had access to such features in the past.

Red Sucker Lake School

September, 2023 – Red Sucker Lake First Nation is growing and the community is building a new high school and renovating the existing school to better serve the community. RSL school administration selected the Mayet Student Information System to manage all of aspects of student enrolment, attendance and achievement in their schools.

RSL school administration brought education staff to Winnipeg for a three-day conference that focused on user training and data entry to facilitate rapid deployment and system implementation. MIS returned to RSL school for system installation, configuration and additional user training for administrative staff.

September, 2022

September, 2022 – Ebb and Flow First Nation embarked on a new-school construction and existing-school renovation. This transformative project will support the community whose existing school which was designed for a population of 200 students has been hosting a student population of over 800 active enrolments.

Mayet Student Information System clients since 2019, Ebb and Flow First Nation reached out to MIS to review existing network infrastructure and plan updates to integrate existing and new school networks.

MIS assisted Ebb and Flow administration in securing a new Bell-MTS 1-GBS fiber internet connection and securing membership in Merlin’s Independent Partner Program. Ebb and Flow School continues to work with MIS to provide managed network services to ensure the entire school campus has access to state-of-the-art computing resources.

June 2021

St Theresa Point School

June, 2021 – With an annual enrolment of 1400 students over a sprawling three-school campus, St Theresa Point First Nation chose the Mayet Student Information System to manage all aspects of student enrolment, attendance, and achievement data for their school. MIS worked closely with the school technical staff and administration to ensure all historical and current student records were retained and archived within Mayet.

MIS continues to provide STP schools with technical expertise related to the management of their school’s Local Area Network as well as guidance related to student and school data management.
